And so it begins...our Indian adventure. We arrived in Delhi this morning despite a few bumps in the road and are now tucked away at our cozy B+B Chhoti Haveli (a wonderful find!) soaking it all in and trying to figure out what the heck to do next! Since leaving Maynard, our route has taken us through NY, PA, London and Prague. First impressions: its much hotter than we expected (about 92 today and we're told this is unusually cool), and also dryer than we expected despite Delhi having unusually heavy rainfall over the last few days. Otherwise, the very few people we have interacted with so far have been very nice. The roads are as crazy as we thought they would be and New Delhi- the 10 mile strip or so that we've seen- is a little less developed than we expected, but then again we didn't know what to expect and we've seen so little. More later once we have actually ventured back outside!
